Apply by June 17 for Funding to Maintain the Tradition of the Latvian Song and Dance Festival in the diaspora

This program is aimed at groups such as choirs, dance groups, music ensembles and arts and crafts organizations.
Available funding: approximately EUR 13 000
Funds will be available after July 10, 2025.
Reporting deadline: February 28, 2026
Contracts will be concluded with PBLA; reports must be submitted to both PBLA and the Ministry of Culture

Priorities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia for this call for proposals:

On average, six (6) events related to maintaining the tradition of the Song and Dance Festival (e.g. concerts, joint rehearsals, repertoire learning events) in the countries of the diaspora.
At least one third of the events funded will be in countries in the European region.
Masterclasses will not be supported in this call for proposals, as they are funded separately by the Latvian National Centre for Culture (EUR 50 000 per year).

Application procedure:

Only legally registered diaspora organisations can apply (funding will not be transferred to individuals’ bank accounts).

The application consists of:

Completed project application forms (no electronic or handwritten signatures required);
Detailed cost estimates in euros (only the costs for which you are requesting funding from the Ministry of Culture should be included in the estimate).
