The census paints a portrait of Canada's population and the places where we live. Information from the census will ensure that your community has the data it needs for planning schools, daycare, housing, hospitals, emergency services, roads, public transportation, and employment skills training.

By participating in the census, our community can ensure that our interests and our needs are well-represented in policymaking and the development of government programs.

If you are required to answer the long form, questions 9a, 10, 22, 23, relate to language use and ethnic and cultural origins. If appropriate, do not feel shy to indicate „Latvian“.
