Among the 33 films is Latvian director Signe Baumane&#8217;s animated film \u201cMy love affair with Marriage\u201d.<\/h2>\n<div class=\"article__body\">\n<p>Signe Baumane&#8217;s film \u201cMy love affair with Marriage\u201d has gained acclaim\u00a0at international festivals, was nominated last year for the European Academy of Motion Picture Awards, and was named best animated film at the National Film Awards \u201cLielais Kristaps\u201d ceremony in February, while Baumane received awards as best animated film director and best animated film artist.<\/p>\n<p>The adult animated film \u201cMy love affair with Marriage\u201d\u00a0asks the eternal question &#8212; what is love, and how to find and preserve it? The film tells the story of a young woman&#8217;s search for love, in which mythical sirens engage &#8212; they teach her to aspire to a perfect marriage, yet conceptions crumble irrevocably when biology\u00a0impacts her behavior and emotions, shaking the foundations of marriage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Ak1-0pka4c4\">Treileris<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The film is a joint production of Latvia, the United States, and Luxembourg, with financial support from the National Film Centre.
