Your family's history is valuable - New guidelines on maintaining archival materials

It's been more than a year since the World Federation of Free Latvians together with support from the Latvian Ministry of Culture started to collect information about Latvian archives around the world.

• in Canada, so far 9 private archives have been registered
• - if you have archival materials at home (and we all do), you are invited to register your archive
• - there is a new brochure, available in both English and Latvian, that explains how to evaluate what items are of value, and how to organize and digitize your materials
• - you can apply for space on the Google Drive cloud to store your digitized materials by writing to lora.egle@pbla.lv
