Song Festival Association Council

The Latvian Song Festival Association Council consists of representatives of Latvian organizations whose goal is to organize a Song Festival every five years which includes setting the dates, identifying an appropriate location, and organizing the  Festival.

LNFC participates in the Song Festival Association Council. Its participating members are:

Kristus Dārzs Latvian Home

Kristus Dārzs Latvian Home is a not-for-profit, charitable 100-bed Long-Term Care Home located in Woodbridge, Ontario. Our purpose is to provide Long-Term Care in a culturally sensitive setting that respects Latvian heritage. Our philosophy: Kristus Dārzs is home for individuals who require ongoing care and can no longer safely live independently. Kristus Dārzs strives to offer services that meet each resident's physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs in a homelike atmosphere. Our principles: at Kristus Dārzs we are committed to offering the highest quality care, delivered with compassion and respect in safe surroundings, ensuring the individual rights of every resident. The staff, volunteers, and board work together to provide resident and family-centered care in a nurturing environment.
